Sadly, this reminds me very much of what Israel has recently done to the people of the Gaza Strip.
In the allegorical sense, my battle scenes are representative of the horrors of all wars. But this one certainly is freshest on our minds and has surpassed the boundaries of belief.
I enjoyed the books in this series and love how you naturally integrated humorous moments with more serious ones. You should think about giving a class, Jim. As someone struggling with writing a book, I very much admire your discipline and focus.
