That's hilarious, Jim! My uncle's family had a pet spider monkey. Very friendly, hung out in the backyard hedge whenever it could. I really liked it and convinced my family to let me get one. Remember the ads for monkeys in the back of magazines? I ordered one, supposedly 6-months old. The one I got was not young and didn't like anyone. I felt bad for it. Finally gave it to a local pet store thinking they might find another home for him. I enjoyed your story!
