My multipart series chronicles the ups and downs of an ordinary person striving to becoming a novelist in the real world. The series will span more than five decades.
Hi James. Thanks for the great comment! I appreciate your supportive words. My legion of readers (😀) will learn down the road of this series that The Death Wizard Chronicles finally went out of print at the end of January 2025, I've regained my rights, and I'm currently working on brand-new editions that will be released by the end of this year. I'd love a surge in sales then! 🤣
Thanks Jim. Very interesting. When it comes to fiction I think the bigs are looking at the author more than the writing. That's why self publishing is so exciting. And online fan-building. The writing comes first.
Hi Richard! Sorry for the delayed response. My experience with self-publishing is that a lot of people will buy the books, but they're not willing to pay full price.
I like the lots will buy the book part : ) I have to believe if books are going out the door you are way ahead of the game, I know more than a few self-published authors and they sell nothing. They network, they buy ads, they rent tables, nothing nothing nothing. It's a big reason I haven't tried it, and I'm following you with great interest.
Thanks for sharing, Jim. The more that writers share, the more informed the next group will be. This may (may) lead to a surge in sales.

There's truth in there.
