Hmm, there's something about a deadline, even a self-imposed one, that stirs the creative juices. Adrenaline adds wings to your pen.

You truly are the most dedicated, disciplined, and productive writer I know. It just astounds me!

I wish, I'm far too easily distracted and get annoyed sitting for too long. I have made a schedule so hopefully get more work done... oh there's a butterfly.... the struggle is real, not sure my husband will let me go for a 3 month cabin break, does sound nice right now though. :)

Just aim for a week on the cabin break. But I would recommend not renting one with a hot tub. 😀

Have you considered supplying a freebie in exchange for a review?

A freebie of The Death Wizard Chronicles, you mean? Or one of my other books?

Any of 'em. This is what conventional publishers do. I have no idea how do-able this is for self-publishing.

Yes, I've done that quite a bit. It's easy to gift ebooks via self-publishing and paperbacks, for that matter.

Not to belabor this, but can you do it on your 'stack? The reason I'm interested, now and in the future is I'm rooting for you. I want the big 5 to say dang, this guy's kickin a**

What a great thing to say! Well, I could certainly offer my updated Death Wizard Chronicles series for free on here in return for advance reviews. My plan is to publish Volume 1 first, followed by 2 and 3. But I'm not going to do any promotions until all three volumes are published. So the series will sort of just sit there for a few months and not do a whole lot, but that's okay. As for the Big 5, unless lightning struck and someone came to me (which ain't going to happen), I don't think I have the patience anymore to wait months only to get a rejection.
