I consider fantasy the hardest genre to write because of the world building. It's quite an art to provide enough world that the reader feels immersed--but not so much that the pace drags. Congratulations on your upcoming series!

Thanks so much! I feel the same way, only for me it's sci-fi. Though I consider myself a science geek of sorts, I'm definitely not up on all the latest terms used by many of today's sci-fi writers. Especially when it comes to world-building.

Good point. SF is probably even harder than fantasy, because you've got the world and then you have to research/come up with ideas for the technology, too.
