Volume 1 of 'The Death Wizard Chronicles' is live!
The acclaimed dark fantasy saga is back better than ever.
Volume 1 of the new edition of my dark fantasy trilogy The Death Wizard Chronicles debuted today (April 28). Volumes 2 (July) and 3 (October) will appear later in 2025.
The new version of The DW Chronicles is tighter and slightly less extreme. Think of it as the “author’s cut.” I’m reducing the series from its original six separate books to three volumes, with each volume containing two books. If you’ve already read the series, there’s enough new stuff to make a second read worth your while. And if you’re new to DW, now is the perfect time to introduce yourself to my magical world.
Fair warning: Unlike my teen fantasy series Dark Circles, The DW Chronicles is intended for audiences 18 and older. If you can handle Game of Thrones, then this series will be a piece of cake.
Readers will dive into a fantastical realm where magic, monsters, and mayhem collide, crafting an unforgettable adventure. With a unique blend of fierce battles, shadowy magic, and a richly woven narrative, this series explores profound themes of transformation and sacrifice. This isn’t just a tale about dragons, wizards, and warriors. It’s about the choices that shape our destinies.
Only a Death Wizard can die. And live again.
Only a Death Wizard can return from death. And remember.
Only a Death Wizard can tell you what he’s seen.
Not all care to listen.
For a thousand years, none rivaled the power of Torg, the Death Wizard who ruled his people and maintained peace on Triken. But a new menace has suddenly arisen. The evil sorcerer Invictus poses a threat greater than Torg has ever faced, his insatiable hunger for power casting a dark shadow over the forces of good. When Invictus imprisons the Death Wizard in a horrendous pit bored into the solid rock of a frozen mountain, Triken's fate hangs precariously in the balance. Torg becomes freedom’s last hope. But to harness the full extent of his powers, he first must die and be reborn.
Action-packed and yet profound, this dark fantasy saga will thrill and challenge fans of the genre in new and thought-provoking ways.
Thanks Jim good luck. Have you thought of using ARCs?
Thanks!!!
